probably French, circa 1830 and probably manufactured in Solingen, with curving 35 1/4in. blade, broad fuller to both sides and etched with trophies and scrolls (worn), three-bar brass hilt with applied boat-shaped langets, turned down quillion with disc end, ribbed grip (binding absent) and brass capped back-strap, no scabbard
